Czech law for foreign parties
LISTINA is a Czech analytical office – not a law firm. We read documents and public registers and deliver factual reports to foreign companies and their advisers. Where a matter needs representation before a Czech court or authority, it is handled by a collaborating advocate.
These pages explain Czech law as it applies to a foreign party: who files, the binding deadlines, and what a file must contain. They are organised by practice area and, beneath each, by the specific procedure. Every figure on the site carries its source and the date it was checked; the first response to an enquiry comes within two working hours.
Practice areas
Seven areas, each with its own hub and a set of procedure notes beneath it.
Procedures, step by step
For the procedural side – who acts, the deadline that cannot be recovered, the documents a filing needs – start from the procedures index. It groups the step-by-step notes by the same seven practice areas. To search or page through everything in one place, use all articles.
What we deliver, and where the line runs
We produce a factual report from documents and public registers: the register position, the asset or insolvency record, the enforceable-title status of a claim. It stops at the line where legal assessment begins. We do not advise and do not represent parties; representation before a Czech court or authority is provided by a collaborating advocate. Where a jurisdiction holds no record worth reporting, we say so before the order and charge nothing.
